    I heard the news about what happened to you today and i feel really so sorry about it. I heard that you loved korea and i feel so embarrassed about what happened to you.     As a Korean living in Korea, I was deeply shocked by today's news. It's heartbreaking that such a blindly vicious attack could be launched at someone who so genuinely approaches and appreciates the Korean culture. I'd like to add that I have a lot of respect for you as a person and what you do to build strong diplomatic ties between Korea and the U.S. I wish you a swift recovery and hope for the opportunity to meet you one day in person.

We are deeply impressive your considerate behavior as your normal life as you try to reach out Korean regardless nationality. Korean realized that there are some terrioist align with north communist from this incident. Hope you get well..

    It's shocking that something like that happened in Seoul, let alone to an Ambassador... I wish you a fast recovery and that your family quickly recovers from the shock as well. As you'd probably know, it was a very unusual incident, and I hope you and your family feel safe living there, and hopefully, enjoy the rest of your stay in Seoul.     대체 믿어지지 않는 충격적인 테러와 같았습니다..... 도대체 결코 있어서는 안 될 일이었습니다... 뭘 어떻게 도와드려야 될지 참담한 마음입니다. 트위트에도 글은 남겼지만, 여지껏 이땅을 위해 목숨을 아끼지 않고 도와주었던 혈맹으로 다져진 나라의 한 대표께 이런 천하의 무지몰매한 짓을 저지르는 이가 있다는 사실은 도대체 믿을 수도 없으며,

    더 화가나는 것은 각 나라 시민의 대표를 제대로 지키지 못하는 이 한심하고 무책임한 후진적인 어처구니 없는 경호시스템에 있었습니다. 뭐라 말씀을 드려 위로를 전해야 될런지요.
    이런 참담한 의식이 굴러다니는 이땅에 오시게 한것이 너무나 죄송하고 미안합니다. 부디 리퍼트 대사님의 세계의 평화와 안녕을 위해 기원하시는 그 뜻을 한국인 들이 잊지말고 늘 리퍼트 대사님과 함께 인간적인 철학을 잊지말아, 그런 인간의 세상이 실현 되도록 그 뜻을 잊지 않고 계속 앞으로 나아갈 것임을 저 역시 약속 드리며,

    그럼에도 불구하고 이 한국과 시민들을 믿어주시는 그 큰 뜻을 잊지 않으려 합니다. 먼 이 이국땅에 큰 뜻을 가지고 오신 만큼 말 할 수 없는 실망감에 허탈한 마음 어찌 다 말로 표현 할 수 있겠습니까.
    그럼에도 이땅의 시민들을 믿어 주시는 리퍼트님은 정말 큰 사람 입니다. 한국인들은 미국이 어려운 상황에 처한다면 역시 나라의 의리를 잊지않고 함께 힘겨운 길을 걸을 것임을 말씀드립니다. 부디 저희들이 언제나 응원한다는 사실과 언제나 진정한 인연 사실을 잊지말고 쾌유하시길 기원드립니다.

    I feel sorry for the pro-North Korea man's terror

    but we all koreans are happy to hear you get well without big hurt.


    Ironically, this incident made more people got to know about your big affection and devotion to Korea.

    Also, on the contrary to North Korea 's intention, the relationship between South Korea and USA will be closer and stronger.


    Please get protected by security guards , with more diverse activities in korea.

    We koreans will always give you big support and affection.

    Dear Ambassador Lippert,

    This is a Korean woman that lives in Cincinnati. My American husband is originally from Cincinnati so we've settled here since we married last year in Korea. I know you're from Cincinnati as well, which makes me more relate to you!! I love this city. It's such a peaceful, relaxing, and family-oriented city. People are really polite and down-to-earth too.

    I keep following up your news on the Internet. I just want to let you know I am your huge fan and you have my full support. I am so impressed by your professionalism, open-mindedness, and passion for Korea. Korea is lucky to have an American ambassador like you. I do hope two countries will have stronger bonds.

    If given a chance I'd love to see you in person in Cincinnati. Thank you for being such an awesome ambassador. Hope your life in Seoul is as fun as my life in Cincinnati.

    We know how loyal and faithful our dogs across the world are; and we all ask a lot of them – they serve us in innumerable ways: farm work, war work, police and guard duties, search and rescue, help for the disabled, guiding and guardianship, and, of course, as our loving and trusting companions, such as Grigsby. Please take immediate action and help us bring attention to the horrendous torture and slaughter of dogs and cats in S. Korea and urge their government to end this brutal trade once and for all.
